ABOUT JANELLE

 

Janelle Springer-Willms was born and raised on the beautiful island of Barbados and now lives with her family in the Austrian Alps. She is a former Prosthetist-Orthotist who has seen the amazing things people can do when they put their minds to it. So she skies despite her fear of flying off the mountain. Hikes despite her fear of heights. Scuba dives despite her fear of big fish. And captains twin pirates who enjoy raiding the pantry and hiding under beds to devour their bounty. Her picture book, SAMMY THE SEASICK PIRATE (Reycraft Books) is scheduled for release in 2021.

  • Reading picture books even more than she likes reading adult novels

  • Dancing especially in warm rain

  • Laughing until her belly hurts
